LiquidDriv3r — Zap into the Future

Ahoy pirates,

Launching V2 was a game-changer for us and the yields generated by our platform. The total revenue for xLQDR in the past 80 days amounted to a whopping $2.9 million. We have opened more pools for our partners, introduced a wrapped version of inSPIRIT and made strategic partnerships with our friends at RoboVault, Beethoven-x, BiShares, Yoshi.Exchange and Grim Finance. We are also well on our way of acquiring our own liquidity with Olympus Pro, with the bond offering now sold out.

Our core focus is now on improving the user experience, the profitability of the protocol and its robustness with regards to market movements. Building an anti-fragile system is no easy task in this nascent industry, but we got a couple of tricks up our sleeves.

This week we are taking a huge leap forward on our journey. In the first phase, we are releasing a completely rehauled new UI with a Zap & Stake functionality.

The next two stages will be releasing the new Beethoven-x pools, before embarking on a journey to Shadow Farms ━ our new strategies that compound into staking.

Unveiling our latest UI

Nothing is more valuable than time. With this in mind, we started designing a new UI from scratch with the user in focus.

Upon entering the website you see a pirate ship sailing in the dusk. In order to fully embrace our pirate theme, we commissioned art pieces from top NFT designers in the space, Gr0sChat0n and MyLilSpirit.

Much has also changed under the hood. RPC calls have been optimized to make the user experience as smooth as possible.

A new Zap & Stake functionality has been added for easy 2-click access to our pools. In addition to this, Rubic and Yoshi.Exchange widgets will be fully integrated, meaning you get most of the important features without ever leaving our site. This means users can do multichain swaps and access aggregated liquidity directly from our website.

Shadow Farms

Welcome to the mysterious fields of Shadow Farms. Auto-compounders have become the norm in the Fantom ecosystem with more than $440M TVL shared between Beefy, Reaper and Grim. They are a great way to increase your LP positions exponentially over a long time horizon. However, there is a void in the market and a real need for solutions that allow fellow farmers to accumulate governance tokens.

Our latest strategies will allow our users to stake their SpiritSwap, SpookySwap, and Beethoven-x LPs and earn their respective governance token. The strategies will harvest the rewards multiple times a day, and swap them for their respective yield-bearing version (xBOO, fBEETS, linSPIRIT) and stake them. A performance fee will be applied only on the compounded rewards, meaning it will always be more profitable to stake in our Shadow Farms strategies compared to staking in our partners farms.

Here is a yield simulation done for the Grand Orchestra pool on Beethovenx. Note that APY can vary considerably over time.

Keep in mind that these strategies are still in development. Security as our priority, we will do another audit for Shadow Farms before launching and run a bounty program for all of our current contracts.

Spirit Wars

Perhaps most importantly, with SpiritSwap’s gauge system now officially out, our strategic play to become the largest holder of inSPIRIT will start bearing fruit.

In addition to starting talks with various parties regarding bribes, we have started working on a bribing tool in order for xLQDR holders to start reaping the rewards.

We are in the process of crafting a plan to determine the allocation of SPIRIT rewards to the various liquidity pools on its platform. This may mean a major overhaul of the farms we have in order to maximize our revenue.

Security Framework

Security in DeFi can never be taken too seriously. We started looking into areas where further improvements could be made and added extra cautionary steps to our product release process and day-to-day operations.

All of our existing contracts will be part of a bug bounty program powered by Immunefi, who are currently guarding over $25 billion in user funds across projects like Chainlink, Compound and Sushi.

Shadow Farms, our new strategies, will be audited by a top tier firm in addition to joining the bug bounty program.

Additionally, we are implementing a policy to make every new feature go through a stress testing phase with Immunefi.

Q1 of 2022 will be full of huge developments for us, our partners, and the ecosystem as a whole. If you have been following closely, you are probably already anxiously awaiting what is about to come.

In 2022, we will bring forward more strategies leveraging the features of our partners without requiring LQDR emissions.
